Meet the Doctor

Steven F. Thaxton, DDS, MAGD has been a General and Family Dentist since 1978. He is a member and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and the State Secretary of the Tennessee Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Thaxton is also a member of:

He received the Tennessee Dental Ace Award and is Board Eligible in General Dentistry. Dr. Thaxton has a special interest and advanced training in sedation, implant placements, implant restorations and comprehensive care. He completed a comprehensive conscious sedation and IV Sedation residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham in August 2006.

He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. degree in Chemistry and from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry in 1975 with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Brenda, Dr. Thaxton’s wife, received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee. She practices with Dr. Thaxton.
